The 'Big' Idea
Welcome to British Tapas, a website dedicated to the art of creating the 'Perfect Mouthful'. Using well loved and world famous existing recipes from across Great Britain, and turning them into beautiful Tapas dishes.
Heavily influenced by my love for Spanish cuisine, coupled with the added bonus of having an amazing
Sardinian/Italian chef for a father, this project sets out to recreate everything great about British cuisine and present it within a tapas format, for example, the full roast dinner tapa, the full English Breakfast tapa, the fish and chips tapa, the list goes on. All delicately presented with the best ingredients possible.

The Perfect First Mouthful..
Some of these recipes are challenging, but some of the recipes are very simple to make, of course, a full roast dinner tapa is going to be trickier than preparing a simple cheese on toast tapas, but the key is always in the preparation, so don't be put off by anything shown here.

The Grand Plan
The intention is to add tapas dishes to the website as and when they are prepared, and although this is a somewhat slow process, it seems like the best way to move things forward and enables this project to have an online identity - I've been sitting on the idea for far too many years, plus one can only eat as much as one needs to eat, and I hate wasting food. I have created a page which shows the dishes that I am intending to add in the Menu section, if you have ideas for recipes then please use the Contact form and get in touch.
